What The Hell Are You Looking At?

Ladies, if you come to work wearing a revealing, dare I say provocative ensemble, don’t be surprised if your male co-workers (and the odd female) shoot some glances your way. I can already hear the guys sighing, “duh!” Yet this seemingly obvious cause and effect scenario is mysteriously lost on plenty of, otherwise rational, women. Then again, something tells me it isn’t lost on them at all, and for some unintelligible reason, for every look received, these agency sex bombs return the favor with an utterly insulted look back. Apparently, that low cut blouse exposing your left booby and that denim mini skirt that exhibits your disdain for underwear, weren’t supposed to attract any attention. My bad. What’s that you say? It’s a $400 GUCCI skirt, and the blouse is an original Armani. Well, when you put it that way, I guess it’s not nearly as distracting as I first thought. All I’m saying Ladies, is that you can't have it both ways. Respected account exec who demands our undivided attention during your precious creative briefings, and office vixen strutting up and down our collective minds. It’s science. If you’re showing, we’re looking and that’s that. Certainly food for thought before Monday’s Vaseline briefing.
